AOVOPRO UK
Are aovopro T2 and T5 E-Bikes Legal in the UK?
UK road legality depends on the exact bike specification, not only the model name. Before riding a aovopro T2 or T5 on public roads, check the motor rating, pedals, assisted-speed cut-off, markings and the specification supplied with your exact variant.
UK EAPC checks
An electrically assisted pedal cycle normally needs pedals, a motor with no more than 250W maximum continuous rated power and assistance that cuts off at 15.5mph (25km/h). The bike must also meet the relevant UK construction and use requirements.
Do not assume every T2 or T5 configuration is road legal
Higher-powered or modified configurations may be intended for private land or off-road use and may require different legal treatment. Do not use a model on public roads until the exact specification is confirmed.
What to check before riding
- Motor rating and controller settings.
- Pedal-assist operation and 15.5mph cut-off.
- Lights, brakes, reflectors and other required equipment.
- Whether the bike has been modified after purchase.
